I bought my first camera as a teenager, learned how to process my own films and prints, and was completely hooked on photography. It became both a hobby and part of my job. I trained as science teacher. Throughout my teaching career I ran photographic societies, taught photography at sixth form level and continued to hone my own photographic skills.


I turned fully professional in 2008. My aim is to provide a friendly, efficient and cost-effective service for my clients. As can be seen from galleries of photos I have retained links with education, photographing plays, shows, concerts and special events. I have DBS clearance.

Wedding photography is a core aspect of my business. I have many years experience in this field and favour a reportage style to provide a full record of the day while not dominating the proceedings.
